Botswana and Falls Overland: Wildlife Walks & Safari DrivesThis tour exceeded my expectations. I thought since we were camping the whole time it would be a bare bones trip, but the campsites had proper toilets and hot showers it was really surprising. Didn't get a single bug bite. All our belongings were secure and safe the whole time. The guides are A+ and are fantastic cooks so many delish meals. My first time going on Safaris and was blown away by how many animals we saw. The locals sang and dances for us at the Delta. It was such a memorable trip. I would highly recommend adding this to your bucket list. Victoria Falls is stunning and a great place to end the tour. I would just recommend for other travelers to bring extra cash since most places either didn't have card machines, or if they did they wouldn't work (even at the border). We also found out after the fact that you can apply for e-visas and multiple entry visa online beforehand which will save you lots of time and hassle at the borders.

Delta & Falls DiscovererJeff was incredible! Very well Organised and informed with a very nice way about him. His enthusiasm led us to do more than we might have done! I was very confident and trusting of him. He is also very entertaining! And Alvin great too. I feel very lucky to have had them leading us.Marvellous how much we did especially in Chobe . Elephant Sands was one of many highlights. And I liked all the other places lots except Trailblazers Ghanzi; bushmenwalk and show great but we did not get the usual welcome like the others or made to feel welcome. They did not turn on generator until we got there so beers and shower cold. Would not start dinner until everyone there even though just after walk. Rooms and staff very ‘tired ‘ and not bothered.

- Delta & Falls Westbound: Natural Wonders & Wildlife
The included food was a bit disappointing. I am vegetarian and informed the company well in advance however, some evenings I would receive just vegetables whilst other got steaks and vegetables. There were a lot of hidden costs with the trip. Some meals are not included, which is fine, but the itinerary says that some meals are not included to allow us to try local food. The days that we had to buy our own food, there were no local options and the only options were quite expensive and we had no choice but to buy it. Another hidden cost was the compulsory 'tip' for camping in the delta, the guide called this a tip when in fact it was just the cost of the transport & overnight stay, and it was not listed on the itinerary. Our driver Mike was great, he was welcoming and friendly and gave us lots of local information. Our guide Shadwell was nice but did the bare minimum, he was less sociable than Mike and could be rude at times. The tour/ itinerary was more structured than advertised. Several mornings we were gotten up very early to drive to a new location but when we arrived we'd sit around with nothing to do for hours. The set tasks that everyone had to do felt like we were in school, everyone on the trip is an adult and can and should volunteer to help. Overall we enjoyed the trip, we liked the lando, camping and activities, but we don't feel we got great value for money and would be hesitant to choose another tour.
