What can I send with the Eurosender Document Service?
- Contracts, logistics and commercial documents;
- Passports, visa applications, and other personal documents;
- Price tickets for garments, business cards, catalogues, blank forms, computer printouts, and shipping schedules;
- Leaflets and posters;
- Photos as part of business reports and publications not for public resale;
- Diaries, calendars, and personal letters to friends and family.
What items cannot be sent with the international document courier service?
The Document Service is only suitable for sending paper documents and certified letters. See below examples of what you cannot send in an envelope with this service:
- Credit cards or any magnetic card:
- Cash, bank cheques;
- Any small item (in this case, the shipment will be considered as a parcel).
What happens if a non-paper item is sent with the Document courier service?
If a non-paper item is sent abroad through the document courier service, it will be classified as a parcel shipment instead of a document shipment.
This classification is significant because parcel shipments are subject to customs clearance. In most cases, the collection will be rejected because the shipment will have the wrong type of shipping label.
If you need to ship any physical item, please book one our Priority Express Service (for urgent deliveries) or our Standard Service for a cheaper solution.
If I send important documents internationally with Eurosender, will they be insured?
The shipment is covered by the courier’s liability according to the applicable law. You can also purchase the extended liability option during the booking process.
